Everyone knows this song. You hear it on the radio, in shopping malls, almost everywhere during the holiday season and this is called The Christmas Song. This song transports you to Christmas day opening up presents under the tree while sipping on your hot cocoa by the fire. Michael Bublé, Nat King Cole, Mariah Carey, and many more, covered this song. The composer of this song was Mel Tormé, who is also known as the Velvet Fog which represents his smooth vocals.
He also sang this song called, Gone with The Wind. His voice encompasses Jazz and it’s dissonant and soulful style as he captures the emotions of the listeners during this song. At the young age of 23, Tormé not only sang, but was a composer, an actor, a drummer, and even an author of five books. Such raw talent brought this song a great rendition and Tormé has done this ever so successfully.
